When kibble is cooked it is exposed to multiple levels of heat
When pet food is cooked into kibble, that brown crunchy stuff, it is exposed to multiple levels of heat. The extrusion process takes the mixed protein meals, dry starches, and synthetic vitamins, and puts it under pressure and high heat to form it. Then in its “cooking” phase it goes through multiple dryers at heat varying from 350-500 degrees Fahrenheit. This process virtually devoid the food from any enzymes and probiotics and reduces the bio-availability of the vitamins and minerals.
